Golden Cloud is a beautiful pony with a 'look at me' style in the arena! Judges love her and she was champion in all four of the divisions she was entered in for year end awards :):):) Below is a video of her at one of her first shows of the season- she was a saint! :) And there is some recently added footage of her really nice lateral work (what a great teacher she is going to be! ) and some nice quiet jumping :) in the video posted below. Royal Dressage Queen (the name I show her under) Royal Drama Queen (the name my daughter shows her under because Sarah loves Drama, acting that is :) or Reuel (meaning friend of God and the name she was given at birth). We call her Roo around the barn and she lives up to all the others too :) We are sadly putting her up for sale, not because we want to, believe me :(
This mare is just so wonderful I don't even know where to begin.... She is 10yrs old and 16H and a true black and white pinto with a gorgeous head and neck and beautiful gaits to match... My 11year old (at the time) daughter started her under saddle if that gives you any idea of the nice mind this mare has also. This year she had the pleasure of riding her bareback with halter and shank through the snow too. And for many years she was taken on long trial rides to Fair Hill.... which is the creme de la creme of trails because they have HUGE creeks, tunnels, bridges of all kinds, open fields, wooded trails, LOTS of cross country jumps and just about everything else scarey you can think of :)
Anyway, Roo has been with us since birth. Her mother was my favorite horse in the world, Lenoxx, and her sire was Blue Blood, an imported German stallion with an exceptional mind and pedigree. Reuel is 10years old and 16H and has LOTS of show and clinic mileage.
She has been to the Morven Park Young Riders Championships twice and has accumulated a large number of awards over the years. In 2010 She won Champion at Prix St Geoge, 4th Level, 3rd Level YR, and Reserve at 2nd Level YR with Maryland Dressage.
But even more importantly than any of that, she has been an EXCELLENT teacher for both my daughter and I, and several other people that have had the oppertunity to ride her. There are very few horses with her amazing work ethic. She really puts her all into it and can really surprise you. For example: A friend and I were working our horses in hand and I made the comment that I thought that the piaffe that she was doing at that moment was probably 'her piaffe' meaning that it was close to as good as it was going to be kind of thing. Not that it was bad... very showable but just not a ton of suspension. Some horses have an amazing piaffe and I just kind of figured that she wasn't one of them...... Well, not 15 minutes later during the under saddle portion of our work, Roo surprised me with 'passage on the spot'... I am still in awe of it as I am writting this even though she has done it many times since. Apparently she heard me, and let me know without a doubt, she was not average.... I was so pleased I dropped the reins and very loudly let her know how wonderful she was... and anyone else within a ten mile radius :)
She is ready to be taken out at Inter II this year. I think the only thing that could give us grief is our one-tempis... or should I say my one-tempis, I just can't get my stupid legs to listen ! Everything else is very solid and easy for her. We are putting her on the market for $65,000. Grace is a really quiet purebred 4 yr old TB(Oldenburg eligible) mare that we just really love. She is very easy to ride and just very very sane. It is sometimes hard to believe that she is a TB at all. She is pretty green under saddle but easily does w/t/c and crossrails. And her canter is soooooooo nice.... I guess she is a TB :) We were hoping to get more time with her but with a new addition to our human family(#6) and some other road bumps we are sadly letting her go. I am sure I will regret it but we are only keeping one 15 yr old broodmare and two others that we have bred and raised for riding.
We are selling Grace for $12,000 obo. This price is subject to change as she is shown and as her training progresses.

GG's Sempatico baby has arrived!!!!!! We are naming him 'Grande Prix Special Effects'. He is a beautiful tri colored pinto with some really fun markings and very nice conformation, head and neck. His bloodlines carry Sandro, Samber, Pilot, Pilatus(sire of Roemer), Grande, Graphit, Grundstein, and Gothard. We are falling in love with this sweet big guy. He should mature 16.2 to 16.3 as he is a very good size boy. He would be an excellent stallion prospect.

GG is a really wonderful 16.3 hand, 9 yr old solid black mare. VERY quiet and so nice to work around. Under saddle she has 3 SUPER nice gaits. Comfortable to ride and nice overtrack too. She is very athletic and easy to train (as her impressive bloodlines would suggest :) In 2009 she earned us High Score at Trainiing Level and also at First Level with many scores in the 70%. In 2010 she won year ends again in both divisions she was entered along with high scores and other accolades along the way:) Judges seem to really love her but not as much as we do :):):) GG is being offered for sale at $38,000. She is VERY solid 2nd level and schooling much more :)The video being posted is from Culpepper in 2010. The ride itself is mediocre(scored in the sixties)...but she was so well behaved at such a big show with lots of problems going on around her, that I just had to post it. She never even bats an eye at all the commotion. I will try to get more video posted of some current schooling. Her extensions are very powerful now and her halfpasses and changes are coming along steadily :)

R GPS is the creme de la creme of our breeding program. She is the combination of both of our stallions so her bloodlines are just incredible. She is a big true black 2004 filly with small socks and a beautiful star on a remarkably shaped head. Even though she is very gangly she still has awesome movement and power, not to mention suspension. This girl just floats even when she is not even trying. I can see many attributes of our stallions and of my favorite Dutch mare.
