This is Royal DQ at Morven Park Young Rider Championships. In 2006 we wrapped up the season (4 shows) with 3 high scores of the day and 11 firsts. Not too shabby for her first year of showing. The End of Year awards were great fun as my daughter won junior high score and I won senior high score and a training grant!!!! It was fun to 'keep it in the family' thanks to Roo.

In 2007 we kept it rolling again with Champion in both Senior and Young Rider Divisions at Year Ends and plenty of blues and high scores along the way.

In 2008 Roo was shown only a couple of times before Sarah hurt her back and was unable to ride until April of 2009. I was also unable to ride during the 2008 season as I was having our sixth baby, Justin :)

This year Roo is doing great (7 shows so far), scoring consistently in the mid 60's with Sarah at 2nd and 3rd level. She is also showing 4th level and Prix St. George. She also has nice two tempis and is playing with passage and piaffe. She is just too much fun :)

The next video is of Roo doing her second Prix St George test. Me and my goofy nerves botched our canter pirouettes, but all in all, I was tickled pink. Roo just seems to go on auto pilot and tries to take care of me. She is such a great show horse that way. We scored a 67%.

Please keep in mind that this is unedited so it is a good bit quicker than real time. She has a VERY lofty trot but unless I slow the video down, it looks quick with my Sony camera.
